My wife made me aware of this. Not new. Still relevant. Not secular. Funny! I laughed pretty hard at this. Enjoy and happy Friday!
I'm convinced a movie night with his wife, and specifically hearing the song and the lyrics below, convinced Rob Bell to write The Zimzum of Love. Oh I know "zimzum" is from the Hebrew and all that. Blah blah blah. I'm not dumb, Rob. I know. Just check out these lyrics and the song below to find the real inspiration for crazy relationship words. Maybe they didn't use the word "zimzum" but it would of fit right in.
We're one of a kind
Like dip da-dip da-dip doo-wop da doo-bee doo
Our names are signed
Boogedy boogedy boogedy boogedy
Shooby doo-wop she-bop
Chang chang changitty chang sha-bop
We'll always be like one, wa-wa-wa-waaah
Easily the best video for the ALS ice bucket challenge I've seen. Amazing.
Man, I love stuff like this. Chris Davis of the Orioles hits a home run and gets greeted by no one in the dugout. So he high fives a bunch of invisible teammates. Awesome.
Goodness, yes. Don't miss bonus scene just over halfway through.
Here, finally, is the answer to the current debates on law, grace, burdened Christians, antinomianism, and the rest. Why are you reading all those books when you could just watch this?
Taylor Swift is a fine studio singer, but I think she tries too hard live. Here's an example from the Grammys tonight. My kids have decided any head-banging like this will now be known as "Swifting." So ridiculous it's awesome...
My goodness this is funny. This is a 13 second video of a woman talking on CNN. In the last second or two John MacArthur (another guest) looks at the camera. So great.
You only need to know one One Direction fan for this to be awesome. (Yes, it's fake. That's why it's so funny.)
Maybe the best football/popcorn clip ever...
Oh my. I think some evil parents were behind this! :)
One colorful word, but this hidden camera footage of execs trying to convince Ben Affleck to be the new Batman has now surfaced and is remarkable...
Say what you want...this is the future of Robin Thicke. I've foreseen it. I don't care how popular his current song is. This is inescapable.
"I've been working on my deltoids"
You ever have to pretend you are happy to be somewhere you don't want to be? Tyler Hansbrough apparently doesn't have a game face, and doesn't want to be playing basketball in Toronto...
Maybe the most important thing ever said about Independence Day... ;)
For times like these when the culture seems to shift, we need to remember we were told a long time ago that there would be times like these. Actually, all times are essentially like these because at all times we are who He says we are. And getting all worked up about it only shows we aren't settled into the truths God has already told us.
